One month to travel, where to go and how to get there…?

My friend will have one month to travel the United States this coming June. We want to utilize that time and see as much as we can. We are in College, so money will have to stretch. Does anyone have any ideas on what a cheap, good quality way to travel would be?

I thought about bus tours, but cannot a website about it.

We have key places we want to go, but does anyone have suggestions?

Hotel Fares…. we have thought about staying with friends that we know in The Us…

i dont know about you but i have friends that live all over, so when i travel i pretty much just buy plane tickets. I stay with the friend i have that lives in that state and they take me around and show me all the different great sites that all the tourists see and the great parts that no one knows about unless they live there. I do the same thing when i visit other countries too….i’ve done this for my friends from other countries and states too…its alot of fun!
