Family Holiday Paris

Going on holiday to Paris (from London)?
My family and I are thinking of going to Paris for the first time this summer holiday. We were wondering:
- What is the best way to get to France from London and how should be go about booking it?
- Also where are good places to stay (should be comfortable but not too expensive). Again how do we go about booking (a.k.a in advance?)
Thanks v.much
The best way to get to France from London to me is by plain, go check fares and dates at http://www.klm.com/travel/gb_en/index_default.html flights both to Paris Orly and Charles de Gaulles.
As far as good places to stay my advice is a place near the Avenue des Champs Élysées

I loved the first hotel on the link above: L’Adresse, a 3 starts.
Safe site and you can book online. I’ve used it many times so far. And yes you’d better book in advance. The more, the better. In case you are travelling with kids you may consider booking two nights at L’Elysée Val d’Europe at Disneyland® Resort Paris too, the ninth in this page http://www.booking.com/searchresults.en.html?aid=314962;label=parigi;sid=3a269c9217af7bc56601798abbee9a8d;class_interval=1;landmark=937;offset=0;ss_all=0;radius=20 in order to visit Eurodisney Paris. Your kids are gonna love it, and you too. Trust me. I just stayed there with my hubby for a couple of days and it was magical. Have a wonderful summer holiday in Paris. All the best, Sienna =)
